Things to do in Bali
Hotels in Bali
Bali has great accommodation options for all types of travellers. If you are a solo traveller check out the M hostel in Seminyak or the Lagas Hostel in Ubud. An alternate route is finding a villa, especially if you’re travelling with a bigger group. A lot of villas are close to the beach, have their own private pools and even have perks like private chefs or discount motorbike rentals. Get a group of your mates together to split the bill and your Bali hotel can be as inexpensive as a budget hostel.
Where to eat in Bali
Since Bali is a large tourist destination, they have heaps of different kinds of cuisines. One of the coolest restaurants with awesome meals and milkshakes is Sea Circus in Seminyak. Another place in Seminyak with a great atmosphere, music, and dancing is Motel Mexicola. Have a smoothie bowl for breakfast and visit a coffee plantation and taste the local coffee beans.
South Bali attractions
Southern Bali is an easy area to get to from wherever you’re staying to the popular beach towns of Seminyak and Kuta. While you are there be sure to check out one of the many beautiful beach clubs such as Potato Head or Ku De Ta and catch a Balinese sunset. Don’t forget to check out Ubud—it’s super easy to get to from the main hubs, and has the famous rice terraces, waterfalls, and a monkey forest.
North Bali attractions
Northern Bali is a bit more off-the-beaten-path and rural, but that can be an amazing thing! It’s home to some of the most beautiful mountains and waterfalls and they won’t be as crowded as some of the other main attractions in Bali. Aling-Aling and Git-Git are two of the main northern waterfalls. Our favourite instaworthy spot? The floating temple, Pura Bratan.
